The Ministry of Economy & Planning plays a central role in driving Saudi Arabia’s socio-economic development.
Tasked with supporting sustainable growth and prosperity, it is responsible for shaping a cohesive national development agenda and leading policy review and reform – all to help realise the ambitions of Vision 2030.
The Ministry of Economy & Planning was constantly evolving in line with the ambitions of Vision 2030. It needed to refine its proposition – bringing greater clarity to its purpose and more effectively communicating its key roles within the broader governmental framework.
Evolving the existing brand identity, we revised the brand strategy so that the Ministry of Economy & Planning’s central task and key roles were clearly articulated. We landed on a creative idea, ‘uniting the nation around a single vision’.
This idea translated into a dynamic logotype – an all encompassing and multicoloured star that references Islamic geometry, paired with strong, contemporary typography.
We also developed a flexible and eye-catching burst pattern, aimed to be used as a striking design embedded in the brand’s communications.
