Back From Baku

I’m just back from an amazing time filming some extra shots for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest titles in beautiful Baku – the exotic and ancient capital of Azerbaijan. The whole Azeri nation is buzzing with Eurovision fever. Although the Finals are still two weeks away I was amazed to see this year’s ‘Land of Fire’ identity – designed by us at Turquoise Branding – appearing almost everywhere in Baku. The fire logo and other flame elements are on everything – taxis and buses, huge billboards, telecom ads, banners, advertising panels, luxury yachts, T-shirts and projection screens. 
During a break in filming I was fortunate to be given a sneak preview of rehearsals inside the contest’s arena – the Crystal Hall. It’s looking brilliant! Do not miss the Eurovision Final on Saturday the 26 May 2012. You’ll love it.
